Life at Twenty7 feat. Ang Tribu Bagobo

I celebrated my 27th in Ang Tribu Bagobo Woodlands Resort - my first choice to reveling my special day with a burst of adventure, of course with only the closest people to my heart, my family and the best of friends. YES, it was indeed a fete of my true whole being and thanksgiving to the ones who touched and valued it to the core; the very ones who stayed with me through my worst and extreme moments in life. I couldn't thank God enough for having them because they've been with me to conquer the pain, desperation and frailty that made me live vibrantly today.

"The Road Trippers"

The struggle was real.

The trail to Bagobo Woodlands is quite exasperating for elders. I had with me my parents, aunt and uncle who are at their 50's and we all did not expect the up&downhill hikes. Adventure as I get, they didn't have any choice but to take those steps. ☺

Despite the trekking, and holding the foods, drinks and kitchenware we brought carefully, we enjoyed the foresty ambiance of the pathway to the resort. It was so cool and peaceful.

That perfect combo of waters and mountains! ♥

The whole vicinity and structure of this woodland for me, is very simple and just good for those who seek for silence and relaxation far away from the city. I think it would be exciting too if we took an overnight stay at the camping site because they say the place is a home of the fireflies. How magical is that! So romantic. So scary. It is said to be a perfect place to catch sunrise and sunsets too! But we only took a day tour.

No matter where we would be, what's really important is the company we have. And how we live life everyday, where we are presently, with what we only have.

ME: I have my family. and friends.

Here's my realization in life generally, at age 27:

1. I've learned to value my family more because I'm single. I can't think of anything less than to make my parents happy. I have been dishonest, and disobeyed them before, blinded by the wrong I-thought-right choices but this time I turned my eyes to theirs. They've been waiting for me, caring about me all along while I was drifted to other things. From then on, the phrase that marked in my mind was: "Honor your father and your mother."

2. I've learned that for a fun free and truthful life, friends' opinions matter. Since we're asking for God's guidance, our friends serve as our mirror/reminder/eye opener, though sometimes they go a bit rough but Gods gracious, they count! Just looking at these pretty little blessings we already have, He really doesn't want us to be suffering alone and that He has better plans (a better future partner to be exact.) I always appreciate, even though it doesn't show, a hand that pulls me up and ears that listen to my silent cries. And I got that from my real friends. These kinds of people deserve to be treasured that's why I joined them in to my treat and trip. I still hope to know more people as good as them today. So nice to meet you and BIG thanks, besties! ☺☻☺
